Skuru IK was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with 27 teams in 13 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 40 categories. The team in Flickor 14 år Classic (födda 2010) made it to the the Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Lugi HF 2 by 6-8.
In addition to this, Skuru IK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023, Skuru had 9 teams playing in Pojkar 9 år (födda 2014), Pojkar 11 år (födda 2012), Flickor 10 år (födda 2013), Flickor 13 år (födda 2010), Flickor 14 år (födda 2009) and Flickor 15 år (födda 2008) respectively. The team in Flickor 13 år (födda 2010) made it to the the Semi final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Tumba HK Blå by 4-11. Skuru comes from NACKA which lies approximately 440 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around NACKA does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: Spånga HK, Haninge HK, Täby HBK, IFK Tumba HK, Huddinge HK, Älta IF, IK Bolton, Bolton Big Ballers, AIK and Blue hearts).
