Ljunghusens HK was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with 11 teams in Pojkar 9 år Beachhandboll (födda 2015), Pojkar 11 år Classic (födda 2013), Flickor 10 år Classic (födda 2014), Flickor 12 år Classic (födda 2012), Flickor 13 år Classic (födda 2011) and Flickor 14 år Classic (födda 2010) respectively. The team in Flickor 14 år Classic (födda 2010) made it to the the Final in C-Slutspel, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 3 by 7-10.
In addition to this, Ljunghusens HK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023, Ljunghusens had 9 teams playing in Pojkar 8 år (födda 2015), Flickor 9 år (födda 2014), Flickor 11 år (födda 2012), Flickor 12 år (födda 2011), Flickor 13 år (födda 2010) and Flickor 14 år (födda 2009) respectively. The team in Flickor 13 år (födda 2010) made it to the the 1/8 Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Lugi HF by 4-9. Ljunghusens comes from HÖLLVIKEN which lies approximately 100 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around HÖLLVIKEN does also provide 27 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: H43 Lund HF, KHF, Dalby GIF, KFUM Lundagård, Stavsten HK, Sillahue, Lugi HF, Rusty Nails Juniorer, Dunderdrängarna and Quicksand).
