HK Ankaret was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with 19 teams in 11 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 40 categories. The team in Flickor 17 år Classic (födda 2007) made it to the the 1/8 Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Haninge HK 2 by 11-13.
In addition to this, HK Ankaret have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023, Ankaret had 10 teams playing in Pojkar 11 år (födda 2012), Flickor 8 år (födda 2015), Flickor 11 år (födda 2012), Flickor 13 år (födda 2010), Flickor 15 år (födda 2008) and Flickor 16 år (födda 2007) respectively. The team in Flickor 16 år (födda 2007) made it to the the Final in B-Slutspeland won it over Lugi HF 1 by 14-9. Ankaret comes from BJÄRRED which lies approximately 83 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around BJÄRRED does also provide 58 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: LVHK 03, Mellangården FC, Dalby, H43 Lund HF, KHF, B-laget, Dalby GIF, HK Svalöv, Lödde Vikings HK and KFUM Lundagård).
