Skånela IF was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with three teams in Flickor 16 år Classic (födda 2008), Flickor 17 år Classic (födda 2007) and Flickor 18 år Classic (födda 2006) respectively. The team in Flickor 18 år Classic (födda 2006) made it to the the Final in C-Slutspeland won it over Uppsala HK 1 by 14-11.
Skånela comes from MÄRSTA which lies approximately 460 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around MÄRSTA does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: IK Bolton, Hammarby IF HF, Täby HBK, Bolton Big Ballers, AIK, AIK Handbollsförening, Djurgården, Spånga HK, Uppsala HK and BHCSthlm Pink Panthers).
