Släktkalaset was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

In addition to Släktkalaset, 71 other teams from 4 different countries played in Öppen klass Herrar Classic. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Släktkalaset could be found in Group 2 together with Joulupukki, Gislegrillen, BARON, Svampbob Trekant, Sommarbyns HK, Finta höger gå vänstra and Är det så fel HK.

Släktkalaset continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against U-Laget with 7-10. In the Final, Böffes Juniorer won over Kaffekaga fc and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

Släktkalaset comes from Alingsås which lies approximately 250 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Alingsås does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Baguese HSC, Kärra HF, Alingsås HK, IK Sävehof, Kungälvs HK, Redbergslids IK, Bor man ihop - spelar man ihop and Håkans Bötta).
