IK Sävehof was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with three teams in Pojkar 16 år Classic (födda 2008), Pojkar 17 år Classic (födda 2007) and Pojkar 18 år Classic (födda 2006) respectively. The team in Pojkar 17 år Classic (födda 2007) made it to the the Semi final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Lugi HF 2 by 8-15.
In addition to this, IK Sävehof have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023, Sävehof had three teams playing in Pojkar 12 år (födda 2011), Pojkar 16 år (födda 2007) and Pojkar 17 år (födda 2006) respectively. Two teams played until Semi final in B-Slutspel; Pojkar 16 år (födda 2007) lost against Lugi HF 2 by 10-12 and Pojkar 17 år (födda 2006) lost against IFK Kristianstad 3 by 11-14. Sävehof comes from Sävedalen which lies approximately 240 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Sävedalen does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: Backa HK, Särökometernas HK, Baguese HSC, Göteborg Beach Handball Club, Kärra HF, BK Hisingen, Släktkalaset, HK Aranäs, Alingsås HK and Näsby F01).
