Önnereds HK was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with 10 teams in Pojkar 16 år Classic (födda 2008), Pojkar 17 år Classic (födda 2007), Flickor 12 år Classic (födda 2012), Flickor 13 år Classic (födda 2011), Flickor 14 år Classic (födda 2010), Flickor 15 år Classic (födda 2009) and Flickor 17 år Classic (födda 2007) respectively. The team in Flickor 12 år Classic (födda 2012) made it to the the Final in A-Slutspeland won it over Hässleholms HF 1 by 9-5.
In addition to this, Önnereds HK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023, Önnereds had 4 teams playing in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2007), Flickor 11 år (födda 2012) and Flickor 16 år (födda 2007) respectively. The team in Flickor 16 år (födda 2007) made it to the the 1/8 Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Haninge HK Blå by 6-8. Önnereds comes from VÄSTRA FRÖLUNDA which lies approximately 240 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around VÄSTRA FRÖLUNDA does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: Kärra HF, HK Aranäs, Göteborg Beach Handball Club, Baguese HSC, Särökometernas HK, BK Hisingen, Näsby F01, Temp OH, IK Sävehof and Kungälvs HK).
