Särökometernas HK was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with two teams in Flickor 13 år Classic (födda 2011). The team in Flickor 13 år Classic (födda 2011) made it to the the 1/8 Final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against Skara HF Vit by 9-14.

In addition to this, Särökometernas HK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023, Särökometernas had two teams playing in Flickor 12 år (födda 2011) and Flickor 13 år (födda 2010) respectively. The team in Flickor 13 år (födda 2010) made it to the the 1/16 Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against HF Orust by 8-12.

Särökometernas comes from SÄRÖ which lies approximately 230 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around SÄRÖ does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: Backa HK, Göteborg Beach Handball Club, Kärra HF, BK Hisingen, Frillesås Bridge Förening, HK Aranäs, Näsby F01, Temp OH, IK Sävehof and Önnereds HK).
