Borlänge HK was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with three teams in Flickor 14 år Classic (födda 2010) and Flickor 16 år Classic (födda 2008) respectively. The team in Flickor 16 år Classic (födda 2008) made it to the the 1/8 Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK Vit by 10-12.

In addition to this, Borlänge HK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023, Borlänge had 5 teams playing in Flickor 15 år (födda 2008), Flickor 17 år (födda 2006), Flickor 18 år (födda 2005) and Damer Junior 19-20 år (födda 2003-2004) respectively. The team in Damer Junior 19-20 år (födda 2003-2004) made it to the the Semi final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK Röd by 10-11.

Borlänge comes from BORLÄNGE which lies approximately 510 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. Other than Borlänge HK, the club Falu HK does also originate from the area around BORLÄNGE.
