Falu HK was one of 251 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with two teams in Damer Junior 19-20 år Classic (födda 2004-2005) and Öppen klass Damer Classic respectively. Two teams played until 1/4 Final in B-Slutspel; Damer Junior 19-20 år Classic (födda 2004-2005) lost against Kristianstad HK DJ 4 by 4-8 and Öppen klass Damer Classic lost against Kävlinge HK ’s green flags by 8-11.

In addition to this, Falu HK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023, Falu had two teams playing in Flickor 17 år (födda 2006) and Flickor 18 år (födda 2005) respectively. The team in Flickor 17 år (födda 2006) made it to the the Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Alingsås HK 2 by 7-11.

Falu comes from FALUN which lies approximately 530 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. Other than Falu HK, the club Borlänge HK does also originate from the area around FALUN.
