Byfånarna was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Damer Classic.

In addition to Byfånarna, 9 other teams played in Motionsklass Damer Classic. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Byfånarna could be found in Group 1 together with Ingen aning, Sista minuten, KHF and Helsingkrona Nation.

Byfånarna continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Tidlösa Krigare with 6-10. In the Final, Tidlösa Krigare won over The botten is nådd and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Damer Classic.

Byfånarna comes from Hörby which lies approximately 42 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Hörby does also provide 81 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: Höörs HK H 65, IFK Kristianstad, IK Lågan Hörby, HK Björnen, Mellangården FC, Vinslövs HK, Kävlinge HK, H43 Lund HF, KHF and B-laget).
