Skandinaviska unionen was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer Classic.
In addition to Skandinaviska unionen, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer Classic. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Skandinaviska unionen could be found in Group 3 together with Temp OH, Hökarna, Spånga Sandboll, Hultas flickor, Kävlinge HK ’s red flags, Kosläpp and Näsby F01. Skandinaviska unionen made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Team van Stam with 10-12. Thereby Skandinaviska unionen finished second in ÖKD Classic A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. Skandinaviska unionen comes from Vinslöv which lies approximately 32 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
