In addition to Yngsjö IF, 44 other teams played in Herr Aktiv. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Yngsjö IF could be found in Group 4 together with Hawaii beach boys , FC Drularna , Hjältarsomtältar , Tungelsta IF , Deportivo Dalarna and Günay FF .

Yngsjö IF made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Böglarehults IF , which they won with 2-1. Thereby Yngsjö IF won the entire B-Slutspel in Herr Aktiv during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016.
