Bortamatch DA

Bortamatch was one of 323 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016. They participated with one team in Dam Aktiv.

In addition to Bortamatch, 27 other teams played in Dam Aktiv. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Bortamatch could be found in Group 1 together with Redbacks fc , Göteborg Futsal Club , Vanneberga IF , Lunds BOIS , Kex on the beach and Team Rajtan .

Bortamatch continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Utbynäs SK with 0-3. In the Final, Smurfarna won over Göteborg Futsal Club and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Dam Aktiv.

Bortamatch comes from Växjö which lies approximately 110 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Växjö does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016 (Växjö DFF, Östers IF, Fjälkinge IF, Real Janne Golv, sverigesskönastedamlag, Alvesta GOIF, Jåkarna SK and Inga gränser).
