In addition to Gärsnäs AIS, 13 other teams played in Flickor 12. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Gärsnäs AIS could be found in Group 2 together with Broby IF , Veberöds AIF / Harlösa IF , Harlösa IF / Veberöds AIF , Listerby IK , FC Hessleholm 2 and Åhus IF 1.

Gärsnäs AIS made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Harlösa IF / Veberöds AIF , which they won with 2-1. Thereby Gärsnäs AIS won the entire C-Slutspel in Flickor 12 during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016.
