Goal Diggers D17-19Ö

Goal Diggers was one of 323 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016. They participated with one team in Dam 17-19 Öppen.

In addition to Goal Diggers, 18 other teams played in Dam 17-19 Öppen. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Goal Diggers could be found in Group 2 together with Bönder från Söder , Rödeby AIF , FC Hessleholm , Göteborgs elit FC , ÖG's Stolthet , Egges Änglar , Noll koll , VVG12 and FC NOLL BOLLKONTROLL .

Goal Diggers continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Liljas Blomsterland with 0-3. In the Final, Liljas Blomsterland won over Absolut Inte and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Dam 17-19 Öppen.

Goal Diggers comes from Kallinge which lies approximately 72 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Kallinge does also provide 28 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016 (Among others: Mörrums GoIS FK, Dreamteam, FK Karlskrona, Regnbågskrigarna, De okända, Pokerclub Hawaii, Listerby IK, Back on Track, Hasslö GoIF and Rödeby AIF).
