The muppeteers was one of 323 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016. They participated with one team in Herr Motion.
In addition to The muppeteers, 50 other teams played in Herr Motion. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof The muppeteers could be found in Group 4 together with Bertils Pågar , FC Chanslösa , BanjoLasse and Tejvos . The muppeteers made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Andralaget , which they won with 2-0. Thereby The muppeteers won the entire A-Slutspel in Herr Motion during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016. The muppeteers comes from Malmö which lies approximately 88 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place.
