Borgeby FK F14

Silver medal! Reached second place in A-Slutspel

Borgeby FK was one of 323 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016. They participated with one team in Flickor 14.

In addition to Borgeby FK, 16 other teams played in Flickor 14. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Borgeby FK could be found in Group 2 together with Genarps IF , FC Hessleholm 1, IFK Karlshamn , Åhus IF 2, Kristianstads DFF 1, Lörby IF , Växjö DFF 1 and Gärsnäs AIS .

Borgeby FK made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Växjö DFF 2 with 1-2. Thereby Borgeby FK finished second in F14 A-Slutspel during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016.

Borgeby FK comes from Bjärred which lies approximately 84 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Bjärred does also provide 67 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016 (Among others: Löberöds IF, Andralaget, FC Bellevue, Joftings Jägare, Västra Ingelstad IS, Furulunds IK, Mansvänner, Genarps IF, Dalby GIF and Kvarnby IK).
