Bolltrollarna was one of 246 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017. They participated with one team in Dam Motion.

In addition to Bolltrollarna, 9 other teams played in Dam Motion. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Bolltrollarna could be found in Group 2 together with Asarums unicornz , Flames Finest , BK-tjejer and Incredibirds .

Bolltrollarna made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Flames Finest with 0-2. Thereby Bolltrollarna finished second in DM A-Slutspel during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017.

Bolltrollarna also participated in Dam Motion during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016. They won A-Slutspel, after beating Flames Finest B in the final with 2-0.

Bolltrollarna comes from Hässleholm which lies approximately 41 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Hässleholm does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017 (Among others: Fc Marre, Pappa's flickor, 9GAG, Banjolasse, IFK Knislinge, Tyringe IF, Pokerfejs, Fjälkinge IF, Hanaskogs IS and Børnes Magasin).
