FC Glenn Hysén was one of 246 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017. They participated with one team in Herr Motion.

In addition to FC Glenn Hysén, 41 other teams played in Herr Motion. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof FC Glenn Hysén could be found in Group 3 together with 046 CREW , Vanneberga IF and Bisken Boyz .

FC Glenn Hysén continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Träbenen with 0-5. In the Final, Böglarehults IF won over Hjältar som Tältar and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herr Motion.

FC Glenn Hysén also participated in Herr Motion during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in HM A-Slutspel, but lost it against BK Solstråle with 0-1.

FC Glenn Hysén comes from Malmö which lies approximately 89 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Malmö does also provide 60 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017 (Among others: Rubens Pågar, Eslövs Betonghåltagning AB, Hökarängen, GIF Nike, Betongkeps & Ågren, Mormors Lejon, Eslövs BK, FC Bellevue, Bär i Pannan and Veberöds AIF).
