They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Kristianstad FC could be found in Group 1 together with Sösdala IF , Hässleholms IF 1, FC Näset , Fjälkinge IF 1, IF Limhamn Bunkeflo , FC Trelleborg , Torslanda IK 2 and Trollenäs IF 2.

Kristianstad FC made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against FC Näset , which they won with 2-1. Thereby Kristianstad FC won the entire A-Slutspel in Pojkar 16 during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017.
