Groggisarna was one of 225 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2018. They participated with one team in Dam 17-19 Öppen.

In addition to Groggisarna, 22 other teams played in Dam 17-19 Öppen. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Groggisarna could be found in Group 1 together with IFK Halvmiss , Hibbis stolthet , NederLaget , IFK Fjärås 2, Vinslövs , Svarta fåren and Mean girls .

Groggisarna continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Helenas änglar with 0-2. In the Final, BK Mjölksyra won over Systembo Laget and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Dam 17-19 Öppen.

Groggisarna comes from Tomelilla which lies approximately 48 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Tomelilla does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2018 (Among others: Lövestads IF, YSTAD PÅGARNA, Playboys, Harlösa IF/Veberöds AIF, Veberöds AIF, FC Gräddbullarna, Zoégas är Fränt, Bänkvärmarna, Svenstorps IF and Harlösa IF).
