Mormors Lejon HM

Mormors Lejon was one of 225 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2018. They participated with one team in Herr Motion.

In addition to Mormors Lejon, 28 other teams played in Herr Motion. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Mormors Lejon could be found in Group 3 together with Jelzin United , IBK Sticket , All stars and Meat is murder FC .

Mormors Lejon continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Vattenpojkarna with 1-2. In the Final, Träbenen won over Vattenpojkarna and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Herr Motion.

Mormors Lejon comes from Gärds Köpinge which lies approximately 13 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Gärds Köpinge does also provide 82 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2018 (Among others: Löjligt Viktigt Möte, Strandängens IF, Vattenpojkarna, Dynamo WetWilly, Bolltrollarna, BØRNES MAGASIN, Nejtack FC, Vi anmälde oss på fyllan, Bois FC and Kristianstad FC).
