Salimia salej FC was one of 225 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2018. They participated with one team in Herr 17-19 Öppen.

In addition to Salimia salej FC, 49 other teams played in Herr 17-19 Öppen. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Salimia salej FC could be found in Group 5 together with Bois FC , Stress i Dress , Stoke City , Hörby Beach Boys , Net six n’chill , Topless , Trollenäs IF 1, Incredible 10 and Sillhövda AIK .

Salimia salej FC continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Eelcoast with 1-2. In the Final, Eelcoast won over Topless and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herr 17-19 Öppen.

Salimia salej FC also participated in Herr 17-19 Öppen during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in H17-19Ö A-Slutspel, but lost it against Stigge with 0-1.

Salimia salej FC comes from Hässleholm which lies approximately 42 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Hässleholm does also provide 68 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2018 (Among others: Löjligt Viktigt Möte, Strandängens IF, Dynamo WetWilly, Bjärnums GoIF, Bolltrollarna, BØRNES MAGASIN, Vi anmälde oss på fyllan, Bois FC, Kristianstad FC and Ett gäng stolpskott).
