Strandängens IF was one of 249 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2019. They participated with one team in Herr 17-19 Öppen.

In addition to Strandängens IF, 56 other teams played in Herr 17-19 Öppen. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Strandängens IF could be found in Group 2 together with Båset IF , "Herren på täppan" , Ifö Bromölla IF , Stoffes pågar , Grill-Anders Gossar , Väla FF , Joga Bonitoz and Gott o Blandat .

Strandängens IF made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against "Herren på täppan" , which they won with 4-1. Thereby Strandängens IF won the entire A-Slutspel in Herr 17-19 Öppen during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2019.

Strandängens IF also participated in Herr 17-19 Öppen during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in H17-19Ö B-Slutspel, but lost it against BEN DOVER with 1-4.

Strandängens comes from Kristianstad which lies approximately 15 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Kristianstad does also provide 101 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2019 (Among others: Vet Inte 2.0, Skånes-Djurpark, Åsums BK, Goal Diggers, Blonda Boysen FC, Stoffes pågar, Chefens Pågar, Real Ribbetuaröd, Vittskövle IF and Toivonens Lärjungar).
