Mormors Lejon HM

Mormors Lejon was one of 249 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2019. They participated with one team in Herr Motion.

In addition to Mormors Lejon, 28 other teams played in Herr Motion. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Mormors Lejon could be found in Group 2 together with Vattenpojkarna , AMK , Baywatch and Frasses 2 kockar .

Mormors Lejon continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Arvids Vänner with 1-3. In the Final, Gossip Girls won over Arvids Vänner and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Herr Motion.

Mormors Lejon comes from Gärds Köpinge which lies approximately 13 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Gärds Köpinge does also provide 103 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2019 (Among others: Skånes-Djurpark, Åsums BK, Goal Diggers, Blonda Boysen FC, Stoffes pågar, Chefens Pågar, Real Ribbetuaröd, Vittskövle IF, Toivonens Lärjungar and FC Oförutsägbara).
