Sagas DS

Sagas was one of 184 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2022. They participated with one team in Dam Senior Förening/Öppen.

In addition to Sagas, 15 other teams played in Dam Senior Förening/Öppen. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Sagas could be found in Group 1 together with BK Hopaplock , ABZOLUT , Vinnö IF , Furulunds IK , Göingetöserna , Chanslösa and UEL115 .

Sagas continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Hallands Nations FF with 0-2. In the Final, Göingetöserna won over Hallands Nations FF and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Dam Senior Förening/Öppen.

Sagas comes from Vällingby which lies approximately 440 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Vällingby does also provide four additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2022 (Örby IS, Tantolundens Beach Soccer Club, Djurgårdens IF FF and Berga Helldogs).
