Sandlopporna was one of 229 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2023. They participated with one team in Herr Senior Öppen/Förening.

In addition to Sandlopporna, 47 other teams played in Herr Senior Öppen/Förening. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Sandlopporna could be found in Group 4 together with Pang-Pang Spårvagn , Gacke DK , KaffeKaga FC , HJältarna från Söder , Rilles boys , Ystad Beach Boys and Tollo Linear .

Sandlopporna continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Rakt upp with 1-4. In the Final, KaffeKaga FC won over Rakt upp and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herr Senior Öppen/Förening.

Sandlopporna also participated in Herr Senior Förening/Öppen during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2022. They reached the 1/8 Final in HS A-Slutspel, but lost it against Topless with 0-1.

Sandlopporna comes from Lund which lies approximately 71 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Lund does also provide 59 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2023 (Among others: Häljarps IF, första klass, Kvarnby IK, Veberöds AIF, Blue Ballers, Systembo Laget, Dalby GIF, Svedala IF, Janstorps AIF and Lunds FF).
