Bottenskrap was one of 229 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2023. They participated with one team in Dam Senior Förening/Öppen.

In addition to Bottenskrap, 23 other teams played in Dam Senior Förening/Öppen. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Bottenskrap could be found in Group 1 together with ABZOLUT , jogabonito , måste INTE vila , Systembo Laget , FC Hessleholm , Vinnö IF and "jaa pappa betalar" .

Bottenskrap continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Asarums IF FK with 2-3. In the Final, IF Kamraterna won over Skaunetöserna and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Dam Senior Förening/Öppen.

Bottenskrap comes from Fjälkinge which lies approximately 8 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Fjälkinge does also provide 75 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2023 (Among others: Brobygrillen IF, Mjällby AIF, Santos FC, Stoffes Slavar, Önnestad BoIF, MÅSTE VILA, Brösarps IF, BK Gäddastorp, Jaga FC and Vinnö IF/Önnestad BoIF).
