Askeröds IF was one of 270 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2024. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 13 (Födda 2011) and Pojkar 14 (Födda 2010) respectively. The team in Pojkar 14 (Födda 2010) made it to the the 1/4 Final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against Önnestad BoIF by 1-3.
In addition to this, Askeröds IF have participated in Åhus Beach Fotboll before. During Åhus Beach Fotboll 2023, Askeröds had 4 teams playing in Flickor 13 (Födda 2010), Flickor 16 (Födda 2007) and Dam Senior Förening/Öppen respectively. The team in Flickor 16 (Födda 2007) made it to the the Semi final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Bäckby United by 1-3. Askeröds comes from Hörby which lies approximately 48 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Hörby does also provide 70 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2024 (Among others: BK BAKFYLLA, Klart grabben ska ha en husvagn FC, Uppåkra IF, LUFT Spark, B.T.G, AP’s riddare, SoGK Charlo, Tomelilla IF, Drängarna and Jogabonito).
