In addition to Onsala I BK, 13 other teams played in Pojkar 97. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Onsala I BK could be found in Group C together with Hovslät ts IK, Warberg IBF, Carlshamns IBK 85 and Lindome I BK.

Onsala I BK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 5:th place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Olofströms I BK with 3-8. In the Final, Skövde IBF won over Warberg IBF and became the winner of Slutspel B in Pojkar 97.
