In addition to the two Veddige teams, 12 other teams played in Pojkar 97. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Veddige 2 could be found in Group A together with Hovmantorp GO IF, Lindås I BK and Halmstad I BK.

Veddige 2 continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Olofströms I BK with 2-4. In the Final, Skövde IBF won over Warberg IBF and became the winner of Slutspel B in Pojkar 97.
