Fristad GoIF was one of 103 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2015. They participated with 5 teams in Pojkar 03, Pojkar 02, Pojkar 00, Flickor 02 and Flickor 01 respectively. The team in Pojkar 00 made it to the the Final in Slutspel Band won it over Carlskrona IF by 5-4.

In addition to this, Fristad GoIF have participated in Warbergsspelen before. During Warbergsspelen 2014, Fristad GoIF had 5 teams playing in Pojkar 03, Pojkar 02, Pojkar 00, Flickor 99 and Flickor 97/98 respectively. Two teams played until 1/4 Final in Slutspel B; Pojkar 00 lost against Lindås Waves IBK by 1-4 and Flickor 97/98 lost against Träslövsläge IF by 2-3.

Fristad GoIF comes from FRISTAD which lies approximately 90 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around FRISTAD does also provide four additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2015 (Rydboholms SK, IBK Alingsås, Borås IBF and Fritsla IF).
