In addition to Vinbergs IBS, 30 other teams played in Pojkar 02. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Vinbergs IBS could be found in Group G together with Fristad GoIF, Nybro IBK and Warberg IBF P03 Svart.

Vinbergs IBS continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group G. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Växjö IBK Vipers 2 with 4-6. In the Final, IBK Vöikers won over Warberg IBF 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Pojkar 02.
