In addition to Hovmantorp goif, 11 other teams played in Pojkar 98. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Hovmantorp goif could be found in Group A together with Sävedalens IBK, Onyx IBS and Skövde IBF.

Hovmantorp goif continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Lessebo GoIF with 1-2. In the Final, BKI Sunnanå won over Lessebo GoIF and became the winner of Slutspel B in Pojkar 98.

Hovmantorp goif comes from Hovmantorp which lies approximately 180 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Hovmantorp does also provide five additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2015 (Alvesta IBK, IBK Vöikers, Lessebo GoIF, Växjö IBK Vipers and IBK Vöikers P05).
