Fröjereds IF was one of 118 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2016. They participated with four teams in Pojkar 01, Flickor 03, Flickor 02 and Flickor 01 respectively. The team in Flickor 03 made it to the the Final in Slutspel Aand won it over Lindås Waves IBK by 2-1.

In addition to this, Fröjereds IF have participated in Warbergsspelen before. During Warbergsspelen 2015, Fröjereds had two teams playing in Flickor 02 and Flickor 99/98 respectively. The team in Flickor 99/98 made it to the the Final in Slutspel Band won it over Skövde IBF by 2-0.

Fröjereds comes from Tidaholm which lies approximately 150 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Tidaholm does also provide three additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2016 (Skövde IBF, Fagerhult Habo IBK and Mullsjö AIS Pojkar 03).
