Växjö IBK Vipers was one of 118 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2016. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 02. The team in Pojkar 02 made it to the the Final in Slutspel Aand won it over Varla IBK by 6-5.

In addition to this, Växjö IBK Vipers have participated in Warbergsspelen before. During Warbergsspelen 2015, Växjö IBK Vipers had three teams playing in Pojkar 02 and Pojkar 00 respectively. The team in Pojkar 00 made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Carlskrona IF by 2-4.

Växjö IBK Vipers comes from VÄXJÖ which lies approximately 150 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around VÄXJÖ does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2016 (Alvesta IBK, Gransholms IF, Hovshaga AIF, Braås GoIF, IBK Vöikers, Växjö IBK, Hovmantorp goif, IBK Vöikers P05 and Öjaby Sport).
