In addition to Stenungsunds IBK, 15 other teams played in Pojkar 99. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Stenungsunds IBK could be found in Group D together with Warberg IBF, Lindås Waves IBK 2 and Öjaby Sport.

Stenungsunds IBK made it to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group D. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Warberg IBF, which they won with 2-1. Thereby Stenungsunds IBK won the entire Slutspel A in Pojkar 99 during Warbergsspelen 2016.
