Bjärreds IBK was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2017. They participated with one team in Pojkar 03.

In addition to Bjärreds IBK, 33 other teams played in Pojkar 03. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Bjärreds IBK could be found in Group H together with Warberg IBF 1, Nybro ibk and Sandareds IBS 1.

Bjärreds IBK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group H. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Växjö IBK with 3-4. In the Final, Växjö IBK won over IBF Älvstranden and became the winner of Slutspel A in Pojkar 03.

Bjärreds IBK also participated in Pojkar 03 during Warbergsspelen 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in P03 Slutspel A, but lost it against Floda IBK with 3-4.

Bjärreds IBK comes from Bjärred which lies approximately 160 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Bjärred does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2017 (Malmhaug KFUM IBK, Hofterup IBF, Palmstaden Ik, SST NET Landskrona IBK, Lomma FBC, Häljarps SK, Malmö FBC and Hofterups IBF).
