In addition to Vinbergs IBS, 13 other teams played in Pojkar 01. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Vinbergs IBS could be found in Group C together with Surahammars IBF, IBK TYGRIKET 99 and IBK ALINGSÅS.

Vinbergs IBS made it to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group C. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Warberg IBF 1, which they won with 7-0. Thereby Vinbergs IBS won the entire Slutspel A in Pojkar 01 during Warbergsspelen 2017.

Vinbergs IBS also participated in Pojkar 01 during Warbergsspelen 2016. They reached the Semi final in P01 Slutspel A, but lost it against Warberg IBF 2 with 2-3.
