In addition to IBK Vänersborg, 33 other teams played in Pojkar 03. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IBK Vänersborg could be found in Group A together with Kustens IF, FBC Engelholm, Frillesås FF and Hofterups IBF.

IBK Vänersborg continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Surahammars IBF with 2-4. In the Final, Växjö IBK won over IBF Älvstranden and became the winner of Slutspel A in Pojkar 03.
