Kustens IF was one of 113 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2018. They participated with 6 teams in Pojkar 09, Pojkar 07, Pojkar 06, Pojkar 05, Pojkar 03 and Flickor 05 respectively. Two teams played until 1/4 Final in Slutspel B; Flickor 05 lost against Pixbo Wallenstam IBF by 2-3 and Pojkar 03 lost against Lessebo goif 04 by 3-4.

In addition to this, Kustens IF have participated in Warbergsspelen before. During Warbergsspelen 2017, Kustens had 9 teams playing in 9 out of Warbergsspelens all 18 categories. The team in Pojkar 01 made it to the the Final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Skövde IBF by 1-3.

Kustens comes from Haverdal which lies approximately 50 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Haverdal does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2018 (Halmstad IBK, Falkenbergs IBK, Vinbergs IBS, Båstads GIF, Halmstads IBK, Eldsberga IBK and Glommens IF).
