Ale IBF was one of 113 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2018. They participated with four teams in Pojkar 08, Pojkar 06 and Pojkar 05 respectively. The team in Pojkar 05 made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Skövde IBF Röd by 3-4.

In addition to this, Ale IBF have participated in Warbergsspelen before. During Warbergsspelen 2017, Ale IBF had 4 teams playing in Pojkar 08, Pojkar 06 and Pojkar 05 respectively.

Ale IBF comes from Nödinge which lies approximately 87 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Nödinge does also provide 25 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2018 (Among others: Landvetter IBK, Pixbo Wallenstam, Hindås IBK, Stenungsunds innebandy, Floda Ibk, Stenungsund ibk, FBC Lerum, STC Kungälv IBK, Lindome IBK and IBF Göteborg).
