Varla IBK was one of 113 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2018. They participated with 5 teams in Pojkar 09, Pojkar 08 and Flickor 09/10 respectively.

In addition to this, Varla IBK have participated in Warbergsspelen before. During Warbergsspelen 2017, Varla IBK had 7 teams playing in Pojkar 07, Pojkar 06, Pojkar 05, Pojkar 03, Flickor 06 and Flickor 05 respectively. The team in Pojkar 03 made it to the the 1/8 Final in Slutspel B, but lost it against Sandareds IBS 1 by 3-4.

Varla IBK comes from Kungsbacka which lies approximately 41 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Kungsbacka does also provide 33 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2018 (Among others: Särö seahawks, Landvetter IBK, Pixbo Wallenstam, Hindås IBK, Veddige IBK F05/06, Åsa IF, Tofta Gif, Särö Seahawks IBK, Sandö IBK and Varla IBK, Fjärås).
