Sandö IBK was one of 113 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2018. They participated with three teams in Pojkar 05, Pojkar 04 and Pojkar 02 respectively. The team in Pojkar 02 made it to the the 1/4 Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Billingsfors IBK by 1-2.

In addition to this, Sandö IBK have participated in Warbergsspelen before. During Warbergsspelen 2017, Sandö IBK had 5 teams playing in Pojkar 05, Pojkar 04, Pojkar 03, Pojkar 02 and Pojkar 01 respectively. The team in Pojkar 01 made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Vinbergs IBS by 6-7.

Sandö IBK comes from VALLDA which lies approximately 43 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around VALLDA does also provide 31 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2018 (Among others: Särö seahawks, Landvetter IBK, Pixbo Wallenstam, Hindås IBK, Veddige IBK F05/06, Åsa IF, Tofta Gif, Särö Seahawks IBK, Varla IBK, Fjärås and Onsala IBK).
