Bua IF was one of 113 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2018. They participated with 5 teams in Pojkar 07, Pojkar 02, Flickor 08, Flickor 06 and Flickor 04 respectively. Two teams played until 1/4 Final in Slutspel B; Flickor 04 lost against Särö Seahawks IBK Särö Seahawks F04/05 by 0-4 and Pojkar 02 lost against Mölndal MIBF by 1-2.

In addition to this, Bua IF have participated in Warbergsspelen before. During Warbergsspelen 2017, Bua had 5 teams playing in Pojkar 05, Pojkar 03, Flickor 06, Flickor 04 and Flickor 02 respectively. Two teams played until Final in Slutspel B; Flickor 04 lost against Warberg IBF 2 by 2-3 and Flickor 02 lost against SST NET Landskrona IBK by 0-2.

Bua comes from Bua which lies approximately 16 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Bua does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2018 (Among others: Särö seahawks, Veddige IBK F05/06, Åsa IF, Tofta Gif, Särö Seahawks IBK, Sandö IBK, Varla IBK, Fjärås, Onsala IBK, Frillesås FF and Träslövsläge IF).
