In addition to Mölndals IBF, 31 other teams played in Pojkar 04. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Mölndals IBF could be found in Group B together with Warberg IBF 1, FC Helsingborg and FBC Karlskrona.

Mölndals IBF continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against CL98IC with 0-2. In the Final, CL98IC won over FBC Vinga Mariners and became the winner of Slutspel A in Pojkar 04.

Mölndals IBF also participated in Pojkar 04 during Warbergsspelen 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in P04 Slutspel B, but lost it against Onsala IBK 1 with 1-6.

Mölndals IBF comes from Mölndal which lies approximately 61 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Mölndal does also provide 31 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2018 (Among others: Särö seahawks, Landvetter IBK, Pixbo Wallenstam, Hindås IBK, Åsa IF, Särö Seahawks IBK, Sandö IBK, Varla IBK, Fjärås, Onsala IBK and Floda Ibk).
