HIBF was one of 113 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2018. They participated with one team in Pojkar 03.

In addition to HIBF, 25 other teams played in Pojkar 03. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof HIBF 04 could be found in Group A together with CL98ic, Floda IBK, Warberg IBF 2 and Kärra IBK.

HIBF 04 continued to Slutspel B after reaching 5:th place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Kustens IF with 3-4. In the Final, Lessebo goif 04 won over Warberg IBF 2 and became the winner of Slutspel B in Pojkar 03.

HIBF comes from Lund which lies approximately 170 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Lund does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2018 (Åkarps IBK, Gårdarike IBK, Malmö FBC, Skurups IBK, Hofterup IBF, Häljarps SK, IBK Landskrona, Lomma FBC and Malmhaug IBF).
