Mölndal was one of 113 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2018. They participated with one team in Pojkar 02.

In addition to Mölndal, 15 other teams played in Pojkar 02. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Mölndal MIBF could be found in Group C together with FBC Karlskrona, Sandö IBK and Eldsberga IBK.

Mölndal MIBF made it to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group C. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Lindome IBK, which they won with 3-1. Thereby Mölndal MIBF won the entire Slutspel B in Pojkar 02 during Warbergsspelen 2018.

Mölndal comes from Mölndal which lies approximately 62 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Mölndal does also provide 30 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2018 (Among others: Särö seahawks, Landvetter IBK, Pixbo Wallenstam, Hindås IBK, Åsa IF, Särö Seahawks IBK, Sandö IBK, Varla IBK, Fjärås, Onsala IBK and Floda Ibk).
