In addition to the two IBK Vänersborg teams, 25 other teams played in Pojkar 05. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IBK Vänersborg 1 could be found in Group E together with Stenungsunds IBK svart, Sandareds IBS and CL98IC 1.

IBK Vänersborg 1 made it to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group E. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Nybro IBK, which they won with 2-1. Thereby IBK Vänersborg 1 won the entire Slutspel B in Pojkar 05 during Warbergsspelen 2019.

IBK Vänersborg also participated in Pojkar 05 during Warbergsspelen 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in P05 Slutspel A, but lost it against Skattkärrs IK with 2-7.
